Snowdrops is not the kind of book I was expecting but I thought it was a cracking read. The front cover and title made me think it was going to be a thriller. In a way it is but not the types I was thinking.

Snowdrops is a psychological thriller. Once I started to read the book I found it hard to look away. The book is pretty dark at times/5. Snow Drop is a good story if you like a good romance. The artwork took a while for me to get used to, but once I did I came to realize the beauty in the way the artist draws her characters.

The pace of the book starts out slow, but it's kind of nice to see the characters interacting and falling in love/5. Snowdrops is a story told to a listener, a “you”, it’s a kind of confessional. It’s not crime fiction, not a murder mystery. The reader goes along guessing what will happen.

That’s the point. It’s a slow uncovering like the frost and snow that melts in the spring uncovering the thing that’s been hidden and rotting there all winter/5(). The story behind Snow Drop seems to be that of a fun high school romance that touches on slightly more mature themes, but there are hints that the series will go in a more serious direction.

Although there was some parts of the storyline that made The Snow Drop book go "whaaa?," for the most part, I /5. The book stood upon the book-shelf, and then it was taken up and somebody read out of it.
